Welcome to Our

St. Pius X - Lively

Una Parochia, Tria Corda (Templa) ut Unum

One parish, three hearts (churches) as one

A warm and joyful welcome to you!

Whether you are visiting, returning after some time away, or searching for a spiritual home, I want you to know that you truly belong here.

Our parish family includes three churches — St. Stanislaus in Copper Cliff, St. Pius X in Lively, and St. Christopher/Divine Mercy in Whitefish — three hearts beating together as one.

Each church carries a beautiful story.  St. Stanislaus reflects more than a century of immigrant faith and community strength.  St. Pius X grew with the families who shaped the western communities of the Sudbury Basin.

And St. Christopheralso known as Divine Mercy Church — continues to offer a peaceful, prayerful presence in the rural beauty of Whitefish.

Though each community is unique, together we form one parish united in faith, hope, and love.  This is why I often say, “Una parochia, tria corda (templa) ut unum.” It is not just a motto — it is how we live.  Three churches, one parish, one shared heart.

Wherever you enter — St. Stanislaus, St. Pius X, or Divine Mercy — you are welcomed with open arms.  You bring your story, your gifts, and your hopes.  You join a community shaped by generations of people who prayed, served, and supported one another with remarkable generosity.

If you are new, returning, or simply curious, I warmly invite you to come and see.

Come pray with us.  Come meet the people who make our parish a place of warmth, joy, and belonging.  There is room for you here — and your presence enriches us.

As your pastor, I am always happy to meet you and walk with you.  May your time with us bring you peace, friendship, and the deep assurance that you are loved by God and welcomed among us.

Blessings,

Dr. Fr. John Suresh,

M.Sc., B.Ed., M.A., M.Phil., PhD.
